The measure aims, according to the municipality, "to help provide a better service for those looking for information on how to get around in the urban public transport service in Portimão", allowing each user to select the places of departure and arrival, as well as the day and time of travel, then viewing the route map and interface points, with information about your travel plan.

The search result will not only show the bus route, but also the itinerary that the user will have to walk, whenever a line change is necessary and when the origin and destination locations are a few meters from the bus stop. next.

Likewise, the total price of the trip for tickets purchased inside the bus (single ticket, daily ticket) and the price of the pre-purchased ticket will also be displayed.

In addition, a bicycle planning version is planned, which will allow users to plan their trips on two wheels on the respective website, giving priority to safer bike lanes and lanes, without forgetting to pay attention to any slopes, among other suggestions.

The Vai e Vem transport network currently has a total of 18 lines, including 12 on weekdays, three only on Saturdays (16, 38 and 39), three on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays (1P, 33 and 37 ) and one night (3N).

The network serves the city of Portimão (lines starting at 3), as well as the parishes of Alvor (lines starting at 1) and Mexilhoeira Grande (line 21), being organized to serve service areas, schools (in school hours) and places of tourist interest, including beaches, the campsite and leisure areas.
