III_Step_CNFV14_finalBruno Xavier and Alexandre Oliveira, also known as Xande, were the pair of athletes who won the 3rd stage of the National Footvolley Championship that took place in Armação de Pêra, last weekend.

The competition counted for the 9th edition of the National Footvolley Championship, the main competition in the national panorama regarding this modality. The competition was attended by 15 teams and 30 athletes, including some of the main Portuguese duos in the sport.

The event began on Saturday afternoon with the Group Stage, in which the first six finalists were selected and then, in a special qualifying stage, the third-placed teams in each group fight for the remaining two spots, in a total of 33 games to select the 8 finalist teams.

On Sunday, the four decisive games were played, which resulted in the qualification of the pairs Bruno Xavier/Alexandre Oliveira, Hernâni Baptista/David Peres, Calita/Miguel Pita and Ruben Santos/André Gomes.

The final of the stage would end up opposing the duos BrunoXavier/Alexandre Oliveira and Calita/Miguel Pita, both from Algarve, coming from Albufeira, winning Bruno Xavier and Alexandre Oliveira.
