António José Seguro will be this Monday at the Municipal Library of Faro, from 21 pm, to participate and present the ideas that he defends for the future of the Socialist Party. The secretary general of the socialists wants to debate the «problems, challenges and opportunities» of the Algarve, in an action to prepare the Primary Elections, an internal scrutiny that he will dispute with António Costa.
«It was in the name of participation that I introduced, for the first time in Portugal, the possibility of voters, activists and supporters of the PS, to choose who will be the socialists nominated for prime minister of the next Government», says António José Seguro, in the invitation to socialist activists and sympathizers to be present at this evening's initiative.
The socialist promises to present "progressive and reform proposals", also promising "strong opposition to the measures that the PSD/CDS-PP majority has imposed on the Portuguese, insensitive to people's problems and insisting on a policy of challenges".
