The PSP detained two men in Portimão for the crime of drug trafficking, after catching them in flagrante delicto during a transaction, this Wednesday afternoon. In the operation, which was the culmination of a 5-month investigation, the drug dealer and his client were detained.

With him, the two detainees had "200 individual doses of heroin, 90 individual doses of cocaine, 3 mobile phones, 1125 euros, various materials for handling and packaging narcotics, as well as cutting material".

This was an operation carried out by the PSP's Portimão Criminal Investigation Squad.

 

Minors caught stealing gold

Two girls, aged 15 and 13, were intercepted by the police, in Portimão, for having stolen from a jewelry store in that city.
"To consummate the theft, the minors entered a jewelry store located in downtown Portimão and, in collusion of efforts, deceived the owner of the establishment, thus managing to steal several gold threads valued at more than a thousand euros", describes the PSP.

The two girls were eventually located and approached by agents of that police force in a pension located in the center of the city, where they were staying. "Four gold threads that were in the possession of the minors" were recovered and learned.

«After being identified, it was found that both were on the run from host institutions, having been transported to the respective institutions. It should also be noted that, during the proceedings, the mother of one of the minors was also identified and constituted as defendant, as she was involved in a theft, of similar nature, which took place in February of this year, in a jewelery store in this city," added the PSP, in a statement.
