The 35th FATACIL – Lagoa Handicraft, Tourism, Agriculture, Commerce and Industry Fair, taking place from 15 to 24 August, will make a strong commitment to genuine and excellent Algarve products, as part of the “aMARaTERRA” exhibition.
To this end, the area of stands of this emblematic part of the event will be doubled, which is organized and coordinated by the Regional Directorate of Agriculture and Fisheries of the Algarve, a partner of FATASUL, the association responsible for FATACIL.
This increase in the exhibition area of the “aMARaTERRA” exhibition will allow the participation of a greater number of Algarve companies and the offer, to the tens of thousands of FATACIL visitors, of a greater range of quality products from the sea and lands of the Algarve , from the mountains to the coast.
Wines, sweets, liqueurs, meats of indigenous breeds, sausages, dairy products, citrus fruits, dried fruits, aromatic herbs; preserves, seafood and many other riches of the Algarve will be enjoyed in tastings daily and purchased at favorable fair prices.
The 7th Algarve Wine Contest – FATACIL 2014 – which is already a mandatory reference among producers, winemakers, appreciators of fine wines – will this year award a greater number of prizes to new categories of wines in the contest.
As the 35th FATACIL is part of the 2014 program of the Municipality of Lagoa, whose theme is the Sea, gastronomic tastings with dishes made with fish and seafood from the Algarve coast will be part of the event's program, which is currently being prepared.
