A team from GNR's Escola Segura visited the Algarve International School's Espiche (Lagos) pole yesterday, to make a presentation on safety rules to the younger students of 'Pre-Reception', 'Reception', Year 1 and Year 2 .
Students learned how to walk along the road, cross a crosswalk, fasten a seatbelt in a car, what to do when approached by a stranger or when someone knocks and no one else is home.
It was a very enlightening morning and the students got to know a little more about safety rules.
This action took place within the scope of the «Learn to Grow in Safety» program, an initiative of the Municipality of Lagos in partnership with PSP, GNR, Civil Protection and the General Directorate of School Administration.
