O Sul Informação this Monday, May 6th, it signs a Cooperation Protocol with the Order of Economists, which provides, among other things, for the beginning of the weekly publication of articles by well-known economists in our newspaper.

The Protocol will be signed this afternoon, at 16:15 pm, during the presentation and launch session of the future Regional Delegation of the Order of Economists, scheduled for 16:15 pm, at Visualforma Business Centre, a company that will also be one of OE's partners in the Algarve.

The ceremony will count with the presence of Rui Leão Martinho, President of the Order of Economists, and elements of the Installation Committee of the Regional Delegation of the Algarve, businessmen, political leaders, among other invited personalities.

The session is intended to present the objectives of the creation of the Delegation and the initiatives aimed at increasing its regional intervention, with special emphasis on associative representation and taking advantage of the technical potential of its members at regional level. In this sense, several cooperation protocols are signed, with a view to promoting and developing economic science.

 

The Installation Committee includes:

Pedro Pimpão He has a degree in Economics from the Faculty of Economics of the University of Algarve and a Post-Graduate degree in Business Management from the ISCTE Business School (INDEG).
He was Private Manager at Banco SantanderTotta and Credit Insurance Manager at COSEC. He is currently a PhD candidate in Management, Marketing branch, at ISEG/UTL, in collaboration with the Pestana Group and the Science and Technology Foundation.
He is also an effective member of the Order of Economists.

Carlos Manso has seven years of experience in financial auditing, is a specialist in Corporate Finance, namely in the areas of Mergers and Acquisitions and Restructuring of companies.
He is currently the Financial Director of Infralobo EM...
He is a Chartered Accountant, with a degree in Business Management from the Faculty of Economics of the University of Algarve and a Master's Degree in Business Management.
He is an effective member of the Order of Economists.

Telmo Martins He has a degree in Business Management from ISEG/UTL and an MBA in Corporate Finance from the Judge Business School – University of Cambridge.
He is a qualified external auditor at KPMG and Delloite, Corporate Finance Consultant at Explorer Investment, Development Consultant at Blackrocks – Investments PLC (UK) and International Development Consultant for the 4XP Trading Platform.
He is currently responsible for asset valuation and South Regional Director of Charon, SA.
He is an effective member of the Order of Economists.

Luis Coelho PhD in Finance from the University of Edinburgh – Business School, Master in Management from Cranfield University – Management School,
Master in Finance and a degree in Economics from the Faculty of Economics of the University of Algarve. He is also a member of the Association of Official Accounts Technicians and an effective member of the Association of Economists.
He is currently Assistant Professor of Finance at the University of Algarve, Associate Member of the Accounting Group at the University of Warwick – Business School and researcher at the Center for Advanced Studies in Management and Economics, one of the main Research Centers in Management and Economics in Portugal.
