The Concordis Guitar Quartet will be at Teatro Lethes on March 22, at 21:30 pm.

The Algarve training is made up of Fernando Ponte, Rui Mourinho, Rui Martins and Eudoro Grade, teachers in the Algarve Region of the Albufeira Music Conservatories, Faro, Olhão, Portimão, Vila Real de Santo António and Lagoa.

«Suggested by the timbral and sound beauty that four guitars provide, they thought to carry out a project that addressed an original and varied perspective, a musical selection inspired by an assumed quality standard, in line with what we believe to be the taste of the General Public», described the Associação Grémio das Músicas (AGA), which produces the event, in a press release.

«The idea is to bring Music to what is possible to expect. The surprise lies in the approximation between what is produced and the listener, in a set of effects where pleasure, virtuosity and sometimes humor are in permanent presence», he added.

The concert included «the most famous classics, such as Bach, Handel, Mozart, passing through Debussy, Ravel, Tchaikovsky, Albeniz», but also focuses «on popular roots music such as Carlos Paredes, Celso Machado and even film soundtracks famous'.

Teatro Lethes is currently managed by ACTA – The Algarve Theater Company, which has created partnerships with various Faroese cultural agents, including AGA.
