The Municipal Market of Caliços will be open on Christmas and New Year's Eve, on December 24th and 31st, so that the resident population and visitors who are in Albufeira on those days can make last-minute shopping for the Christmas Dinner and for the New Year's Eve Party.
The Mercado dos Caliços is always closed on Mondays from October to April, but as it is a festive season, the Municipality of Albufeira decided to open the Market to the public, exceptionally on the next 24th and 31st of December.
Those who wish can then make their purchases at the fruit, fish and vegetable stands, as well as at the stores in the Market, between 9:00 am and 13:00 pm.
