The Casa da Nossa Senhora da Conceição, in Portimão, is launching an appeal for the collection of school goods and personal hygiene material for the girls and young people who reside in the institution.

The campaign “A small gesture, a big help” is valid until December 31st, but the institution calls on those interested in making donations to do so, preferably, until December 21st, so that some of the goods can be delivered already at Christmas .

The Casa da Nossa Senhora da Conceição is a Social Solidarity Institution linked to the Catholic Church and which works as a residential home for dozens of children and young people in situations of risk or family abandonment.

Founded in the post-World War II period, in 1949, the institution currently only welcomes girls, to whom it also provides training and school support.

The goods can be delivered at the institution itself, located at Rua Bispo DF Coutinho, no. 5, Coca Maravilhas, in Portimão, or at Securitas Direct, at Urbanização Horta da Raminha, Lot 32 R/ch Loja A, 8500-826 Portimao.

A collection of school goods and materials was organized through Securitas' intranet by all of the company's delegations in the country, and this was extended to family and friends of the company's employees.
