The Chamber of Faro will offer Christmas Baskets to needy families in the municipality, but also to all its workers who earn less than 750 euros in basic salary. The measure will benefit 210 needy families and 497 workers in the municipality.
The baskets, which will be delivered from Friday, are composed of foodstuffs and the initiative has the involvement of the Parish Councils of the Municipality.
"This measure is part of the social policy pursued by the municipality, which aims to support the most disadvantaged and will allow the neediest families to have a more dignified Christmas dinner", considered the municipality, in a press release.
