The PS/Faro he says he is proud “of seeing the water supply and basic sanitation work in the Parish of Santa Bárbara de Nexe finally concluded” what will be tomorrow inaugurated by the farens autarchye, an undertaking whose merits he claims and which, he accuses, "the boycott of the PSD" has been postponed "by about two years, thereby harming the legitimate interests and rights of the populations by pure partisan opportunism."

«It should be remembered that the projects and applications for community funding of water and sewage works in the interior of the municipality of Faro were fully prepared, executed and implemented in the Socialist Party's previous mandate in the City Council of Faro, which only did not start these works in 2008 because the PSD boycotted twice in the Municipal Assembly (where the PS did not have a majority) the launch of the respective competitions», recalled the Farenses socialists, in a statement sent to the newsrooms.

The PS also wished “that the Chamber takes all the projects executed and left ready and financed by the Socialist Party to the end” and took the opportunity to question the executive led by Macário Correia “about the reasons that have prevented the launch of the competition to this day. for the construction of the “crematorium of the cemetery of Faro”, a process that was ready in 2009 to be put out to tender at no cost to the Municipality».

Other works that were, allegedly, practically unlocked and that to this day continue to advance or conclude, according to the PS/Faro, are «the one of the Pavilhão Gimnodesportivo that only depended on the visa from the Court of Auditors, the Braciais district (…) and of course, the Passeio Ribeirinho and the new Bridge to Ilha de Faro, under the Polis Program, investments that continue inexplicably without leaving the paper».

The PS did not forget the stoppage at the works on the North Bypass a Faro, accusing the executive of "lack of capacity and political influence" to pressure the Government, "at the risk of this work, launched by the PS and practically concluded, to deteriorate with the winter and cost many thousands of euros the public purse».
