The Gostos D'Agosto cultural entertainment program invites you to live intensely all the tastes of summer, in popular festivals, festivals and social gatherings, in an initiative promoted every year by the Municipality of São Brás de Alportel with the collaboration of local associations and entities.
After last weekend's entertainment, on the 10th, 11th and 12th, at the XX Motard Concentration in São Brás de Alportel, Gostos D'Agosto continues this Tuesday, the 14th, the eve of a holiday at the Festa do Emigrante, to be held place at the São Brás de Alportel Fire Brigade at 21 pm.
This reunion and conviviality between family and friends counts with the performance of the artist Vera Mónica, reserving a moment of fado for the end of the night, with the fado singer Liliana Mendes.
On Saturday, the 18th, the Festa de São Romão starts with a little dance to the sound of the artist Valter Reis, at 20:30.
The animation continues into the night in the company of the Accordionists Group of São Brás de Alportel, at 22 pm, and ends with the performance of artists Alina and Fernando.
With free entry, the funds raised during the party will revert to the restoration and painting work on the exterior of the São Romão Chapel.
On Sunday the 19th, Danças do Mundo returns to the Nights of Verbena for another intercultural encounter through music and dance from various countries around the world.
In this year's edition, Folkfaro- International Festival of the City of Faro presents at 22 pm, at Jardim da Verbena, the groups from Brazil, Peru and Ukraine, in another meeting that intends to keep alive the cultural roots through typically traditional music and dances.
Visitors can also enjoy the Intercultural Mercadinho, part of the Summer Mercadinhos Cycle, which presents products of various nationalities.
On the weekend of 25th and 26th, the Peral Summer Party celebrates the hot summer nights with a fun ball at 21 pm, followed by entertainment with typical dances at 00 pm on Saturday 23th, reserving for Sunday 00th , from 25 pm onwards, another night of dancing and socializing to the sound of popular music.
