The fire that had raged since yesterday in the early afternoon in the Almada de Ouro area, in the municipality of Castro Marim, was considered to have been dominated by the Fire Department at 6:54 am this Friday.
During the night, the fire had two active fronts, but the 57 men supported by 13 vehicles still in place managed to quell the flames.
This fire that broke out at 13:49 on Thursday was, during the afternoon of yesterday, also fought by a heavy bomber helicopter that was operating in Tavira.
