The alleged perpetrator of the attempted murder of a woman, in São Brás de Alportel, last Sunday afternoon, was arrested by the Southern Directorate of the PJ, the police announced today.
The crime took place in the late afternoon of the 15th, in the municipality of São Brás de Alportel, when the suspect hit a woman with a razor.
The 30-year-old victim was timely rescued and transported to the hospital in Faro and then to São José, in Lisbon.
The 37-year-old detainee will be present at the judicial authorities to apply the coercive measures deemed appropriate.
