Alejandro Marque, the Galician runner of the professional team Carmim/Prio/Tavira, won today the bronze medal at the Spanish National Championships in the Individual Time Trial.

The Spaniard completed the course of 42,3 kilometers in 1 minute and 40 seconds of champion Luís León Sanchez (Rabobank) and took third place.

Marque has demonstrated throughout this season that he is in great physical shape, and proof of this is the excellent team work developed in the competitions in which he participates.

The results already achieved also prove this. The epic victory in the first stage of the demanding and judicious Volta à Asturias was one of the most important milestones in his career, where he reached fifth place in the general classification. In national territory, he won the third stage of the GP Abimota.

This is another remarkable climb to the podium to add to his record.
