Portimonense drew 2-2 at home with Trofense this afternoon and postponed for the last round – which plays next weekend – the decisions to remain in Liga Orangina, at a time when they have just one point more than Sporting da Covilhã and Freamunde (31).Alvinegros were winning by 2-0 almost until the 90th minute, but in three minutes they let slip the three points that would practically guarantee the maintenance.

In the last match played at Municipal de Portimão this season, the Algarve came well into the game and after wasting several chances they scored at 30′, through an own goal by Pedro Santos, who was trying to cut a Zambujo cross.

In the second half, at 76 minutes, Rúben Fernandes made it 2-0. However, Trofense always believed and in the 87th minute managed to reduce the disadvantage by Reguila, who had entered at half-time. Just three minutes later, in the 90th minute, Pedro Araújo scored the goal that earned him the 2-2 and the division of points.

The draw means that the decisions are postponed to next Sunday and Portimonense face a complicated trip to União da Madeira's ground.
