The Teia D'Impulsos Association will hold the sixth debate of the Teia D'Ideias cycle on the night of March 7, at 21 pm, at Casa Manuel Teixeira Gomes, under the theme “Mobility vs Accessibility – The vision of those who need it”, in a partnership with the Municipality of Portimão and Rádio Costa D'Oiro.

In the current architecture, ensuring accessibility for people with disabilities or reduced mobility is one of the priorities in urbanism for the sustainable development of society, providing everyone with inclusion, integration and equity of opportunities, which are the main ingredients for the next debate of ideas .

What can be done in this sensitive matter is the challenge to be launched to the participants in the discussion panel, composed by Paula Teles (general coordinator of the Accessibility Plan of the Municipality of Portimão), Almeida Pires (vice-president of the Regional Tourism Entity of the Algarve), António Guerreiro (president of the Association of Disabled Motor de Portimão) and Célia Sabino (social assistant of the Centro Hospitalar do Barlavento Algarvio), with André Leman (Parasport – Association for the Promotion of Adapted Sports) and Paulo Sousa (O2 Association) also present. ), with the representation of Teia D'Impulsos by Guilherme Ribeiro, in a debate moderated by Nuno Silva.

The meeting is open to all interested parties and can be followed step by step on the Facebook page of Teia D'Impulsos, being recorded in audio format, for later transmission by Rádio Costa D'Oiro through the program “Impulso”, in its editions of March 9th and 16th, which will air between 20pm and 00pm.
