The II NCS Volleyball Zone Qualification Tournament takes place in Faro, at the Sporting Clube Farense Pavilion, on the 5th and 6th of March.
This is already the 7th national competition that the Academic Association of the University of Algarve (AAUAlg) will organize this 2011/2012 season.
The female teams will be the same six participants in the XNUMXst Qualification Tournament: Academic Association of the University of Trás-os-Montes and Alto Douro (AAUTAD), Academic Association of Coimbra (AAC), Academic Association of the University of Algarve (AAUAlg), Association Academic Association of the University of Aveiro (AAUAv), Academic Association of the University of Beira Interior (AAUBI), Academic Association of the University of Évora (AAUÉ).
In men, participation was reduced from four teams to just three in this tournament. In competition are teams from the Academic Association of Coimbra (AAC), the Academic Association of the University of Algarve (AAUAlg) and the Academic Association of the University of Aveiro (AAUAv). From the I TA, the team from Aveiro in the men's team won. This is the last opportunity to qualify directly for the final stage of the University National Championships.
After the Surf, Futsal, Football11 competitions, this initiative makes the fourth national organization of the Sports Office of the Academic Association of the University of Algarve, within a period of five weeks, which highlights the importance and impact for local commerce, with the visit of the different national delegations.
