It is next Saturday, the last day of March, at 16 pm, that the Municipal Auditorium of Olhão receives the Contemporary Dance Company of Évora with a show dedicated to the youngest. Its about Imagine, which will delight children and adults.
The show Imagine, which brings together dance and drama, aimed at children, was authored by Rafael Leitão and will be performed by the Évora Contemporary Dance Company (CDCE) on the stage of the auditorium from Olhão, taking us to the imaginary world of children…
Imagine finds its raison d'être in the imaginary world of children to draw the story of a character who lives in a world full of color where anything is possible… the world inside a soap ball. A world where everything turns to color through movement. Thus, they manifest a multicolored magic that transports us to a magical world. Sometimes it's the rainbow in motion.
Imagine stimulates the imagination of each child for a territory only possible to reach through the full experience with art. The show transports each child to a temporal space only possible to reach through the belief in magic.
CDCE was founded in 1990 by Nélia Pinheiro, who is its artistic director. Its activity includes training, production, dissemination and creation choreographic elements as basic elements of work, promoting the decentralization of dance.
