On the first Saturday of 2012, Parque da Alfarrobeira will host a Street Animal Adoption Fair, which are hosted by the various regional animal protection associations. This is an event organized by PRAVI and with the support of the municipality.

PRAVI's Algarve Center – Project to Support Helpless Victims – will organize a Street Animal Adoption Fair, on the 7th of January, from 11:00 to 19:00, at Parque da Alfarrobeira, in Albufeira. In case of bad weather, the event will take place at EMA- Espaço Multiusos.

The various associations in the region that house abandoned animals will be represented at the event, with the aim of helping to find a home and a family for the countless animals they care for.

PRAVI is a Social Solidarity Association acting in support of children, young people, the elderly and animals. As far as the Animal Aid Department is concerned, PRAVI protects around 1500 abandoned animals throughout the country (900 dogs and 600 cats).

Non-profit and developing work exclusively on a voluntary basis, PRAVI aims, through this initiative, to raise funds to support the expenses with food, health and accommodation of the animals it shelters.
