Passenger traffic at Portuguese airports managed by the company ANA, in November, showed a decrease of 1,7% compared to the same period last year, although the traditional segment grew (+3,2%).

In terms of markets, emphasis on the growth of France and Germany. Positive highlight for the performances of TAP Portugal and Lufthansa.

The trend was not generalized at the airports managed by ANA. Thus, while at Lisbon Airport passenger traffic grew (1%), at Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport (-3,7%), at Lisbon Airport Faro (-9,3%) and at the Azores Airports managed by ANA (-7,2%) there was a retraction in the number of passengers processed.

In accumulated terms – January to November 2011 versus January to November 2010 – commercial passenger traffic processed at airports managed by ANA grew by 7,2%, to 25,9 million passengers.

Also in the accumulated, the highlight goes to the growth of the traditional segment (+10,7%).

In terms of markets, there was growth in the United Kingdom, France and Spain. TAP Portugal (37,6%), Ryanair (13,8%) and easyJet (12,5%) represent 63,9% of the accumulated traffic at ANA Airports.
