The Criminal Investigation Nucleus of the GNR of Loulé, after an investigation of about six months, detained in this city a couple of Cobo-Verdean nationality, on suspicion of drug trafficking.
The couple, aged 30 and 35, were arrested following house searches of two residences located in the localities of Loulé and Quarteira, which had the participation of about 30 military personnel, from the criminal investigation, intervention and special operations of the GNR .
A 7,65mm pistol and more than a hundred ammunition of various calibers, around 2600 euros in cash, 30 doses of cocaine, a scale, watches, two gold rings and a large amount of money were seized at the couple's residence. garments and footwear of high value and brand, which, according to the GNR, "the suspect acquired using the high income from the trafficker's activity".
The man, who was already referred for drug trafficking in the municipality of Loulé, remained in detention until he was present at the Judicial Court of Loulé, for the first judicial interrogation, but he ended up leaving, being applied the coercive measure of an Identity Card and Residence, awaiting the process in freedom.
Her partner was only constituted as a defendant and released by TIR.
In the second residence, a 23-year-old Brazilian citizen was detained in an illegal situation in the National Territory and with a pending arrest warrant, which the GNR claims is "connoted with the practice of robbery by hand, with the authorities meeting for long months trying to locate his whereabouts'.
A second individual, equally Brazilian, aged 31, was also notified to appear at the SEF.
The detainee will be present at the Judicial Court of Loulé, today, December 21, for interrogation and enforcement of a coercive measure.
