On December 3rd and 4th, Grupo Coral Adágio promotes the XVIII Encounter of Choirs in Portimão, a prestigious musical event sponsored by the city's City Council.
This year's edition has the particularity of including, on Saturday 3rd, the conference “Onde está o Wally – of music and cinema”, by Anabela Moutinho, scheduled for the Small Auditorium of Time – Municipal Theater of Portimão, starting from 16:00 pm.
On that night, the Orfeon Académico de Coimbra will perform at the Igreja Matriz in Mexilhoeira Grande, at 21 pm, and the Coral Atlântico de Sines, at the Igreja Matriz de Alvor, at 00:21 pm.
The closing concert will take place the following day at the Nuno Mergulhão do Tempo Auditorium, at 16 pm, with the participation of guest groups, Grupo Coral Adágio and “Coreto”, a children's and youth group from Adágio.
All the shows at this Meeting, which are part of the Algarve's musical calendar at this time, are free to enter.
