On Wednesday, the GNR Investigation Unit in Loulé seized weapons and ammunition at the residence of a couple who were also detained and had been under investigation for four months.
The GNR also seized, in the house in the Municipal District of Loulé, heroin, cocaine, hashish and five cannabis plants.
The couple, a 32-year-old man and a 28-year-old woman, had been under investigation for four months. According to the GNR, it would be one of the main suppliers of narcotics in the city of Loulé, which caused concern among residents by the "corruption of consumers" who frequented the neighborhood.
In the house, two compressed air rifles, a dagger, two razors, six 6.35-caliber ammunition, one 22.3-caliber ammunition, mobile phones, an extendable staff, a saber and various pieces in gold were also found and seized.
The man was also transported and admitted to the District Hospital of Faro for medical examination on suspicion of ingestion of narcotics, having been discharged yesterday, Thursday, at 11:00 am, without any product being detected.
Both detainees will be present this Friday at the Judicial Court of Loulé for the first judicial interrogation and application of coercive measures.
