The Vila Real de Santo António City Council and the Portuguese Army signed this Friday, in the Pombaline city, a collaboration protocol that is part of the strategy of continuous recruitment of volunteers, with the purpose of publicizing the provision of military service in the regimes. volunteering and contracting.

The protocol's main objectives are to provide clarifications and cooperation on matters of a military nature, such as the disclosure of the conditions for the provision of military service, military census, certificates, service counts, requirements, among others, which will become provided free of charge by the municipality's services.

The Army undertakes to provide information to the local authority, to make available all means of dissemination and also to collaborate with it in carrying out cultural, recreational and sporting events that contribute to the dissemination of military service.

The protocol was signed by the President of the Chamber Luís Soromenho Gomes and by Lieutenant Colonel of Infantry José Alberto dos Santos Marcos, Head of the Recruitment Center of Faro.

Interested parties should contact the Fees and Licenses Section of the Vila Real de Santo António City Council, from Monday to Friday, from 9:30 am to 15:00 pm.
