The ExtremoSul Association, based in São Bartolomeu de Messines, celebrated, on Sunday, the fifth anniversary of its formal constitution. To mark the date, the association carried out two activities (paintball and walking), in which about fifty members and volunteers participated.
Afterwards, a lunch was held, bringing together around 100 people and the Extremis 2011 awards were awarded. This year, the Extremis Athlete of the Year was Jacinto Neves and the Extremis Atleta Escola BTT was awarded to Rafael Lourenço. Vitor Lourenço took home the Extremis Empenho award.
In addition to the prizes, an experience at the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve, paintball and climbing ExtremoSul experiences, an official club jersey and a member's annual fee were raffled among those present.
