Banjazz is the name of a cute and weird little animal with wide eyes and air banzazed by the music that is its food. It arrives at the Olhão Auditorium on October 15th, at 16 pm. This is a jazz show staged for children that promises to entertain parents and children.

Banjazz opens the door to the exploration of the World of Music, transforming it into images, corporeality, stories and emerging feelings dramaturgically sustained in an organic concert that does not end with the sound of clapping.

The expression of jazz turned into a song for kids and adults, visits a collective imagination in which the new and the old embrace. The images suggested by melodic emotions and dreamy semantic fields run like free children in green meadows, in the open sky of an intense blue.

Musicality is the language and jazz is the inherent freedom, permeable to influences from nearby or distant lands, where different musical styles sprout like flowers.

With the actor F. Pedro Oliveira on stage and the special guest voice-over by Eunice Muñoz, the production is by Sandro Benrós and the original themes by Xico Zé Henriques.

Children and older people will, for sure, have fun with this successful children's show at the Municipal Auditorium of Olhão.
