The Police Station of Vila Real de Santo António, following a case of domestic violence, which occurred on Sunday, the 16th, seized four firearms and ammunition in a house in this city.

However, according to the police, the owner of the weapons, "accused of domestic violence", has not yet been caught.

The PSP adds that, "as a precautionary measure", two .22 carbines were seized, one with a telescopic sight and silencer, a 6,35 mm caliber pistol, a .32 caliber revolver and respective holster, as well as 132 ammunition of various calibers .

The weapons are not "manifested nor registered", so the PSP is continuing its investigations to determine their origin. The record of this case has already been sent to the Judicial Court of Vila Real de Santo António.
