The associations Odiana and ANJE joined their objectives – development of the territory and entrepreneurial entrepreneurship among young people – to promote, on 26 and 27 October, in Vila Real de Santo António, the first fair aimed at entrepreneurs from the cross-border Baixo Guadiana. Alerts, opportunities and clarifications to entrepreneurs are some of the objectives of the event.

The “Lower Guadiana in Cross-border Development” Business Fair appears, in the current situation of crisis, as an alert to the opportunities existing in the territory, emphasize its promoters.

It is a commitment to the competitiveness and development of companies and a stimulus to entrepreneurs in the Algarve, namely the cross-border territory of Baixo Guadiana.

The António Aleixo Cultural Center, in VRSA, thus opens the doors to the challenges of the internationalization of companies, entrepreneurship, potential and economic constraints in the region. Seminars, workshops, consultancy and exhibitors make up the range of offers at this event.

The presence of entities such as CCDR Algarve, Conséjo Andaluz de Cámaras de Comercio, Industria y Navegación, from neighboring Spain, IEFP, INAG, National Confederation of Hunters, ATBG and also the participation of companies based in the territory have already been confirmed. Still awaiting confirmation is the presence of a member of the central government.

The "Business Fair" takes place within the scope of the PIDETRANS project and is a cooperation initiative between the Algarve – Alentejo – Andalusia, financed by the Portugal – Spain Cross-border Cooperation Program [POCTEP] 2007-2013 and co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund [FEDER]; with the support of the European Union.
