Salir do Tempo – Medieval Arts Festival once again transforms the town of Loulé, between 9 and 11 September, into the stage of a journey into the past, with a historical recreation of the medieval period.

With this year's commitment to boosting the event as a Festival of Medieval Arts, the program presents proposals in the areas of music, theater, dance, street entertainment or exhibitions, all with the stamp of the Middle Ages, where the visitor will feel intervening in their own History, between tomorrow and Sunday.

In addition to the arts, a medieval market will be recreated on the site, where several merchants will be present with their stalls of traditional products such as honey, cork, basketwork or dried fruit, and artisans with their crafts, working live.

Gastronomy is another strong point of the event. In the catering area, food is served on wooden boards and drinks in clay cups, according to the “label” of the time. The Festival opens at 19 pm and admission is free.
