Portimonense, from Liga Orangina, and Esperança de Lagos, from 3rd Division, are the only Algarve survivors in the Portuguese Cup, having this Sunday stamped their passage to the 3rd round of the premier football competition.

Thus, Portimonense beat Sourense, at home, by 3-0, while Esperança received and beat Serzedelo by 1-0.

Along the way, in what was the 2nd round of the Cup, there were GD Lagoa, who lost at home to Lousada, by 5-3, on penalties, and Quarteirense, beaten 1-0 by Trofense.

At this stage, the Cup does not include teams from the 1st Football League, in which Olhanense is involved.
