Olhanense returned to winning ways in the Zon Sagres League, this Sunday, against União de Leiria, after two matches without a win. On the return of Daúto Faquirá's team to Estádio José Arcanjo, the rubronegro debuted at home this season (2-0), in a match that was also marked by a scare involving Salvador Agra who fell unconscious on the pitch and had to be transported to hospital after a collision with Edson.

The first goal of the game came in the 22nd minute for the Algarve team, after a start to the match without great opportunities. Wilson Eduardo, who already has three goals this season, after a head pass from Dady, “filled his foot” at the edge of the area and scored a great goal.

40 minutes into the game, Daúto Faquirá was forced to change the team with the injury to Salvador Agra, bringing in Figueroa. The coach's choice turned out to be right, as it was Figueroa who extended the advantage for the rubronegro in the 51st minute, after another assist from Dady.

União de Leiria only managed to reduce the disadvantage in the 82nd minute through Diego Gaúcho after Shaffer's corner.

With this victory, Olhanense maintains a comfortable position in the table, being in seventh place with 9 points, the same as Académica, who is in sixth place.

Salvador Agra will be under observation at the hospital

Salvador Agra suffered a trauma in the 40th minute of the match against União de Leiria, having fallen inanimate on the pitch. In a news published on the Olhanense website, João Vide, from the club's medical department, explained that the player regained consciousness on his way to the hospital and that, after undergoing medical examinations, no image of a cervical or cranioencephalic lesion was found. Despite this, the athlete will remain under observation at the Hospital de Faro.
